Control Seat builds the hardware and software that helps industrial teams see, understand, and run their operations. Our platform creates one clear source of truth across the plant. It connects the systems teams already use, brings control, monitoring, history, and machine health together, and adds an intelligence layer that continuously watches for meaningful changes. Teams can understand what happened, catch problems earlier, and act before they become downtime. The result is fewer surprises, faster decisions, and less time spent piecing together information across disconnected tools. We work with manufacturers, utilities, energy companies, and other industrial operators modernizing existing facilities or building new ones.

    There is a problem in industrial automation. Too much of the software stack is tied to proprietary hardware, expensive licensing, and tools that don’t integrate cleanly! Plants often end up stitching together PLCs, SCADA, historians, dashboards, alarms, and AI from multiple vendors. A stack that can easily cost over $100,000.     One of the coolest moments we’ve had building Control Seat happened last week. A customer operated a battery in Chile from their laptop while on vacation in Hawaii. 🌎⚡ The command traveled from Hawaii to our MQTT broker in Virginia, out to the battery in Chile, and back as live telemetry. The coolest part wasn’t the demo. Before Control Seat, they were maintaining MQTT brokers, cloud VMs, databases, dashboards, and custom APIs just to monitor and control their batteries. Now they do it all from one platform. That’s exactly why we built Control Seat. We’d much rather see engineers spending their time building great products than maintaining infrastructure.
