Cosmic Robotics
Autonomous construction on Earth and beyond
About Cosmic Robotics
Our mission is to build a city on Mars. Cosmic-1, the first equipment in our fleet, is an autonomous robot capable of heavy-lift manipulation. Its been deployed on some of the largest solar farms in the US, more than doubling labor productivity across tens of thousands of panel installs. We're scaling in solar, expanding in data centers, and building lunar construction robotics under contract with NASA.

The Nazi who designed these rocket engines was so unbelievably cracked the US forgave him for killing a ton of people in WW2 and put him in charge of the rocket for the Apollo program and also had him partner with Disney to make space travel cool in American culture

I’m increasingly convinced from chatting with my gf (physicist researcher at MIT) that tiny particle-sized black holes make up most of the dark matter in the universe.
I’m increasingly convinced from chatting with my gf (physicist researcher at MIT) that tiny particle-sized black holes make up most of the dark matter in the universe. It’s just such an elegant and simple explanation

Demand is basically infinite for solar, so much so that many large contractors have jobs fully booked out for years already.
Demand is basically infinite for solar, so much so that many large contractors have jobs fully booked out for years already. We need automation to keep up with demand and that’s why our first product at @cosmic_robotics is solar. It also happens to be one of the first things...

I’ve heard from engineers at several frontier bimanual and humanoid robot companies that world action models have completely changed the game and “solved manipulation”.
I’ve heard from engineers at several frontier bimanual and humanoid robot companies that world action models have completely changed the game and “solved manipulation”. The bottleneck seems to be shifting to running these models at reasonably high frequencies for real-time
