Been a huge fan of ShopBack since my college days and never thought I’d get the chance to host Henry Chan and Justin Lee at Lightsprint (YC P26) HQ (our sign is definitely doing the heavy lifting 😂). Super bullish on Shopback’s growth and excited to hear how they’re charging ahead to become a truly AI-native organisation. Also exciting to see Shopback expanding in the US with partners like Amazon and Uber (and I get to use it here!). Thanks to Candice Ong and Alex Teo for making it happen! Heng Hong Lee …more

Wild moment for the team. Gstack from Garry Tan is now on Lightsprint (YC P26) 🔥 The bottleneck in software has officially shifted. AI agents are insanely good at execution. But if the plan is wrong, agents just build the wrong thing faster. The hard part is making sure the whole team (founder, engineer, PM, designer, ops) is aligned on intent before anything gets shipped. The flow: Describe what you want to build → get roasted in YC office hours / CEO review 🤣 → explore multiple approaches → pick a direction → parallel cloud agents implement in the background → shipped to a sandbox for verification Humans for intent. Agents for execution. If you’ve been sitting on a new feature idea or venture, start here: https://lnkd.in/ezPiWBC2 Excited to see what you build! Benedict Chan Heng Hong Lee Y Combinator …more

We use Lightsprint to build Lightsprint. I used to be a PM and the most frustrating part of the job was having a 15-minute fix in my head and knowing it would take weeks to get through the sprint queue. Last week I added some improvements to our plan mode. Described what I wished for on Lightsprint, got a preview link, clicked through it, and our engineer merged the PR. Took me less time than writing a Jira ticket and communicating it to an engineer would have. With cloud agents getting so good, I think we're at the point where PMs, designers, and ops teammates can actually ship to an existing codebase without slop - not a prototype but real features or bug fixes that is production-grade. If you're non-technical and wish you could just make changes to your product without creating engineering backlog, DM me. Would love to show you what this looks like! …more

Last week I watched a teammate try to update our codebase health section using a coding agent. She described what she wanted. The agent started coding immediately. It picked the wrong component, broke the layout, and spent 20 minutes trying to fix its own mess. Then she ran the same task through our planning tool. It read the codebase, showed her three layout options in our actual design system, and let her pick. She chose one and previewed it live. The agent executed the plan perfectly on the first try. The team huddled behind her laptop and screamed. Same agent. Same codebase. Same task. The difference was the input. That's what we're building at Lightsprint (YC P26) - a product agent that reads your codebase and builds the best plan, before a coding agent executes in one-shot. DM me if you’re keen to try! …more
