Dayjob is AI Scheduling for Waste Trucks Waste routes are still built manually, every single morning. A transport planner sits down at 7am, spends 60 to 90 minutes dragging jobs onto trucks, and the plan is usually wrong by 10am. Customers often say they literally cannot hire and train planners fast enough. It’s a nightmare when one of those planners is off sick or has to go away on vacation. For the last two years, my co-founder, Fred Fooks, and I have applied AI and advanced analytics to help recyclers manage complex on-site operations.
